Location
The Bay of Kotor, which is one of the most beautiful parts of the Montenegrin Littoral, is a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site and an attractive destination for both home and foreign tourists.
Tivat is situated in the central part of the Bay of Kotor, with numerous beaches distributed along the coast, including also the wonderful sandy beach of Plavi Horizonti (Blue Horizons). In its immediate vicinity, there are the Prevlaka peninsula, the Island of Flowers and the Island of St. Marco. Porto Montenegro, one of the most famous nautical and tourist destinations in Europe frequently visited also by the world’s Jet Set travellers, is situated in the very center of the town.
